A 66-year-old woman died when crossing a road in east Orange County on Wednesday night when she was struck by a Maserati, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol. The Cleveland, Ohio woman was pronounced dead on scene after she was hit around 8:20 p.m. by a 2014 Maserati Ghibli driven by a 39-year-old Orlando man who had an 8-year-old girl as a passenger, FHP stated in a crash report. The car was traveling eastbound in the outside lane of Clarcona Ocoee Road approaching the intersection of Lakeville Road.
