ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County Public Schools broke ground Tuesday on a new college campus. The Orange Technical College West Campus will be a 116-thousand square foot facility. The new campus is being built on Ocoee-Apopka Road, just west of State Road 429 in Ocoee. There is already heavy machinery on site as crews start construction. The goal is to have more than 1,000 students enrolled at the campus. The tech college's current location on Story Road in Winter Garden is shutting down.
